Photographed at Saqqara, Egypt.
Saqqara is one of the very first sacred sites I visited – after exploring the mighty Giza pyramid of course – as I embarked on my extended journey of exploration through magical Egypt. I was particularly intrigued by the step pyramid (also known as the “Pyramid of Djoser”) and the sound healing chambers, which I had wanted to visit forever. To my chagrin the step pyramid is clad in scaffolding and closed to the public. Regardless the beauty and peaceful energy of this site are truly amazing, and wandering through these magnificent golden temples felt like a special welcoming blessing.

This place looks serene and filled with history. Your denim on denim look is just the right fit.
It’s so wonderful to see these sacred sites preserved even if the centuries tried to weather them.
Healing chambers? Ooh I gotta see those!
Whoa bell bottoms! They’re definitely timeless!
I was wondering when you’d start exploring the sites underneath! How was it? Looks pretty scary if you ask me.
Totally digging your denims!
