Photographed at the Karnak Temple in Luxor, Egypt.
Karnak temple is one of two must-see sacred sites located on the East Bank of Luxor, in Upper Egypt (take a peek at the phenomenal Luxor temple here). The power, scope and beauty of this place are simply beyond words. I’ve come back again and again (a total of four times, including for the rising sun on the Winter Solstice… which was freakin’ amazing!) yet feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of all the riches this awe-inspiring and mysterious site has to offer.
