Juice Beauty tinted mineral moisturizer, SPF 30.
I’ve been in search of the perfect sunscreen for soooo long, I’d reached a point where I was almost ready to throw in the towel. As you know I’m the ultimate sun worshipper, and I get plenty of it here in Southern California. I don’t want to be totally careless when it comes to excessive sun exposure but lathering on coatings of chemical-laden sunscreen day in and day out, has simply never been an option for me. And unfortunately every single chemical-free sunscreen option I’ve explored gave me that weird Morticia Addams white cast thing. Obviously that’s a big no-no. Nowadays, most foundations have some kind of SPF added into the mix but I don’t wear any makeup when I’m off the clock so I was pretty much left in the cold as far as sunscreens are concerned.
Don’t ask me why but a few weeks ago I jumped back onto the sunscreen quest and decided to give this tinted mineral moisturizer by Beauty Juice a try. Maybe it’s got something to do with the brand’s name (seems tailor-made for the juice fast fiend I am, ha!), or the fact that the ingredient list is super awesome (apple, grape and aloe juices) and that it’s 100% organic… At any rate, I thought “well it has some SPF and a slight tint that might match my skin tone hence neutralize that unsightly whitish thing”… So I decided to give it a shot. I went for the “tan” and bingo! Seamless match. I could hardly believe it. Plus the formulation give off this gorge dewy finish that’s totally up my alley. I love the glow.
Now, I’d call it “sunscreen with a tint” rather than a tinted moisturizer because you aren’t going to get much coverage out of it. But it’s easy enough to dab a touch of concealer where needed and dust a shimmering cloud of bronzer dust for that sun kissed, naturally glowy look.

My skin is oily. Does this work with all skin types? I hope so.
It’s probably not ideal for oily skin because it’s so rich ;(
Apple, grape and aloe are great antioxidants. Thanks for the review!
I use this too! What I don’t like about other brands of sunscreen is its nasty smell. I learned about Juice Beauty from a friend, and I was hooked from then on.
Cool! Wow organic! I like the sound of mineral moisturizer. We don’t want any of those chemical bull that would damage our skin.
I need that!
Been looking for sunscreen that’s “barely there.” Hope this would do the trick.
Thanks for the suggestion!
I love that you’re sharing your make-up secrets!
Keep ’em coming Ndoema ♥
What I don’t like is the greasy feeling. uh :/
Hope this isn’t like that. I will try this out 🙂
