Second Chance: Wardrobe Tests

Getting into character (for this kind of scene I’ll happily do 100 takes) lounging languidly amidst the über luxe Thompson Beverly Hills penthouse for a series of wardrobe tests for SECOND CHANCE, our upcoming fashion film that’ll soon kickstart The Global Girl Fashion Cinema Series.

It took me just about a split of a second (or the bat of an eye) to zero in on this sublime Monika Chiang gown for the most climactic scene in the film.

This ivory beaded gown with leather appliqué exudes such megawatt star power, it was destined to take center stage in the film’s grand finale (and happy ending… wink wink 😉 It’s so incredibly goddess-like, I couldn’t think of a better signature piece to wrap up our fashion-fueled romance.

For an extra dose of glam and girl power, I accessorized it with this amazing jeweled choker and shoulder body chain also by Monika Chiang. I first laid eyes on this mind-blowing piece at her Fall 2013 presentation during New York Fashion Week and my jaw literally dropped. I mean, this is statement jewelry at its finest! (and by now you all know I’m a statement kinda girl). I got a serious case of goose bumps (no kiddin’) when I actually got to wrap it around my own neck (lucky me!!) for this wardrobe test and later on when shooting the scene.

To finish up this rebel goddess look I picked these gorgeous Imena lace-up sandals I was drooling over at Monika’s Spring 2013 show. With that edgy cage silhouette and flurry of leather tassels, these gorge chain & leather heels, combined with the edgy choker and goddess gown, make for a knock-out “naughty and nice” combo that really seals the…well, let’s not give away the ending!
