Second Chance

I’m genuinely thrilled to be officially unveiling Second Chance.

When The Global Girl Fashion Cinema Series was launched and this film began taking shape, little did I know that my fashion-fueled fairytale romance would end up snowballing into such an amazing adventure!

It’s been an incredible journey, from assembling our wonderful cast and crew to working with a fabulous line-up of brands and partners I truly adore.

Styling the shoot alone was a delight. I was treated to some exquisite gowns and accessories from Monika Chiang, BCBG Max Azria and Rachel Gilbert (those of you who follow my Fashion Week adventures will spot several cameo appearances from some of my fave runway picks).

For our filming location, we were treated to the most lavish sets courtesy of Thompson Hotels. I’ve chalked up quite a few hotels in my lifetime, from Lilongwe to Benares and a few glam euro cities in the mix, but little did I know that I’d stumble on one of my absolute fave destinations only a few blocks from my Bev Hills HQ! Shooting at the Thompson Beverly Hills was nothing short of a dream. They set us up in their stunning penthouse suite on a mid-week day (their absolute busiest time) and gave us full access to the hotel’s hottest spots, from the gorge rooftop pool to the stylish entrance where we shot the arrival scene. And I received a very special treat besides. An invite for an encore at the pool to practice my cannonball! Seriously wonderful folks.

Last but not least, we’re celebrating the release of Second Chance with yet another fab partnership. An amazing Giveway of Aveda beauty faves (handpicked by yours truly) and salon pampering services to share with you all (find out all about it here). To top if off, the wonderful team at the Aveda Institute Los Angeles sent to the studio not one, nor two but five talented hair and makeup artists to get me all glammed up for the film’s red carpet premiere! Never had so many pairs of hands in my mane 😉 While we were at it, we teamed up to bring you The Global Girl’s on-camera beauty series. You can view the first of this three-part glam video series, “Get Camera Ready with Ndoema & Aveda”, here. We’ll be releasing the other two throughout the week (get excited).
