I discovered Korean designer Son Jung Wan last February during New York Fashion Week and I fell in love with her exquisite Fall 2013 Collection. There’s a delicate, ultra-feminine touch to her designs that brings a classic elegance even to her more cutting edge and empowered pieces. Her stunning show left me wanting more and I knew that as soon as Fashion Week craziness faded away I’d be exploring her work further.
Well, fast forward a few weeks later and picture my jaw dropping as I glance at these magnificent gowns from her Spring 2013 collection. Need I say more!? Phillip and I were so inspired by Son Jung Wan’s heavenly gowns, and that’s an understatement, that we wound up with an insane amount of strikingly beautiful outtakes that couldn’t possibly be crammed into this post alone.
As you know by now, the dancer that I am loves to move and work a dress that was born to fly. So imagine my delight when I slipped into these beauties for a test drive. I knew right then that there was Magic in the air!
