When I first laid eyes on this spectacular Goddess-inspired silk georgette dress with leather harness and endless train by Japanese designer Jun Takahashi for Undercover, it immediately brought to mind Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring), the riot-causing ballet and seminal orchestral work by Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. The musicality in the cut and movement of the dress. That unexpected combination of avant-garde and earthy. It was love at first sight. Needless to say, this exquisite piece deserved its special setting and mood. And what could be any better than nature’s glorious beauty and a fiery sunset backlight!
To accent this avant-garde grecian goddess look, I chose a pair of stunning python gladiator wedges from Tunisian-born and Paris-based couturier Azzedine Alaïa and a bold vintage ebony and sterling silver modernist arrow cuff. All courtesy of A CURRENT AFFAIR.
Our week-long celebration of A CURRENT AFFAIR will continue with a fourth gorgeous editorial lensed by Phillip James (view the fruit of our first and second collaborations here and here). So enjoy and keep an eye out for more!

I like how the train can be converted to a scarf/shoal. Nice!
With all your looks, your a hot goddess chameleon! haha <3
My favorite is the shot where you look like you were running and your hair was every where and the train as flowing. It just looks so candid 🙂
I love how you can pull off any look Ndoema, whether its earthy or goddess-like or Parisian or casual chic, you look great in all of ’em!!
The location is perfect, the look is perfect, your hair is perfect!
The long train gives so much drama! Yep! You’re a goddess !!
Te ves genial como siempre!
Everything just jives: the dress, the shoes, the accessories, the sun, the lens, and you of course!
Its amazing how Phillip James was able to capture your movement and the flow of the dress, plus the effect of the backlight. Perfection!
You look ethereal Ndoema! You really do give justice to the goddess-inspired dress 🙂
