Having a déjà vu moment? You’re right! I’ve been swooning ad vitam æternam over this fabulous Angel Sanchez Fall 2014 collection. Angel’s super edgy yet super feminine evening wear is to-die-for and it’s soooo me. Surreal!

As this killer cutout silk dress with shredded leather bodice strutted down the runway (photograph number 35 from the top) at New York Fashion Week, I filed it on-the-spot in the dedicated fashion drive of my computer brain with a mental post-it note urging me to make it this fashion week‘s very first off-the-runway number to get my greedy paws on (phew… that was a long one ;). Easy to see why, right? I thought so.

This sexy number isn’t only beyond cool, it’s super versatile. Though it’s technically a fall item, I’m rocking it in skyrocketing temperature in these pics (LA has been consistently hovering around 70°/80° for the last several weeks) yet it’s totally weather appropriate. Pair it with a graphic bandeau bra – like yours truly – for that breezy, West Coast effortless glam. If things get a little chill, style it with an opaque (or mesh) bodysuit for that sleek East Coast cool. It also looks fab with a contrasting cashmere turtleneck in ivory or camel (with color-coordinated coat), and it’s the ultimate day into evening piece that can strikingly take you from your power lunch to your romantic dinner. The combinations and scenarios are as endless as your imagination!
