I’ve had a blast during Fashion Week this season. Discovering new talent is one of those things that bring me so much joy! And I was treated to some truly awesome Fall 2013 presentations. But I have to say, of all of them, Mathieu Mirano took the cake. His collection was, hands down, my absolute favorite. In one word: Brilliant!

I’ve tried as much as possible to capture with my photographs the awe inspiring feeling I had stepping into his flawless and visually striking show. Seriously, the man knows cut, color and drama. Oh.. and his play on textures! Divine. (I mean, check out the dress below!).

As you know I love the Bold and the Graphic. The Sexy and the Edgy. I’m crazy about metallics and drama… oh, yeah! Bring it on baby 🙂 Well, I think I’ve pretty much summed up Mathieu Mirano’s offering for Fall. Though I hate the winter season, these kinda clothes almost make me look forward to it (a feat I must say).

Must haves? Hummm. I’d say build an annex and buy it all (I’m seriously contemplating)! If that’s not an option I’d say: the plush and gold metal toe stiletto booties are a must (sooo fab), the felt wool and leather asymmetrical bustier dress with floor-length silk panel is supremely elegant and the maxi dresses (love the beaded nude and Op art rubber numbers) are simply to die for.
