I’m decidedly having a Goddess moment! After rocking worship-worthy gowns from Korean designer Son Jung Wan’s Spring 2013 runway collection, I gleefully slipped into these draped silk dresses from American designer Mike Vensel’s Spring 2013 collection. There’s something quintessentially feminine about being wrapped up in yards of flowing silk. Something I could dangerously get addicted to (though I’m a bit of a tomboy at heart). I actually got a taste for the Goddess treatment in my beloved India, where I deliciously embraced the daily ritual of sari draping and body adornment. A beautiful lesson in self love which I found deeply transformative, like so many other facets of this enchanting culture.
Though I’m a self-confessed minimalist and love an understated feminine touch, by now you all know that in the accessories department, I’m a statement kinda girl. So to finish up this body conscious yet demure look and give my inner Goddess a little added girl power, I went for bold with geometric gold jewelry by Pure Dead Brilliant and my fave pair of skyrocketing Betsey Johnson peep-toe pumps of the moment (take another look at these beauties here).
