Captured at the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt. Music by Cairo Braga.
My journey of discovery through magical Egypt has been an endless series of awe-inspiring moments sprinkled with the most unexpected gifts.
Getting flash mob love at the foot of the Great Pyramid of Giza wasn’t something I was remotely prepared for. Getting hit up at airports, spotted while veggie shopping at Whole Foods and getting fan love at the shows during fashion week seems odd enough to the low key bush-girl-at-heart that I am, but in truth causing minor commotions at North African sacred sites is far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Yet, within minutes of stepping foot on these sacred grounds I was overwhelmed and deeply touched by my Egyptian sisters’ warm and loving greetings. Such sweetness. I still find it all quite hard to comprehend…
As you can see selfies rule in the land of the pharaohs 😉
