SCENE 7
INT. THOMPSON BEVERLY HILLS PENTHOUSE – NIGHT
Unveiling another series of wardrobe and screen tests from the set of SECOND CHANCE, our upcoming fashion film that’ll soon kickstart
What I love most about styling for film is that it offers a different perspective on Fashion. Wardrobe isn’t just about achieving a specific style but also about shaping a character and conveying a psychological state of mind. Unlike the two previous looks we unveiled (the Monika Chiang beaded goddess gown and Rachel Gilbert sequin mermaid dress) that underscore more upbeat and assertive highpoints in our heroine’s emotional journey, for this scene we needed to convey a more self-reflective and introspective kinda mood sprinkled with a touch of sadness. But always dripping in glamor, of course!
This elegant jeweled halter dress by BCBG Max Azria felt right on target. Delicate and demure yet a little revealing (I love how the gentle cutout back mirrors the way she’s letting some of her inner feelings show in that scene). To complete the look, I amped up the glamor a notch with a cloud of ethereal feathers à la Jean Harlow (courtesy of a gorgeous vintage marabou jacket I found at an antiques show years ago) and a sexy pair of Monika Chiang chain and leather lace-up sandals. Just a hint that though she’s feeling low, it ain’t gonna be for long!
You’ll recognize my handsome co-star, Colin Bryant, in a cameo appearance. He’s given me a heartbreak and this mysterious card… Wanna know what’s in it? Stay tuned for the premiere of SECOND CHANCE!

Did you style your leading man too? A glamorous girl should be with a glamorous guy.
I’m a sucker for love stories! Cant wait for the premier!!
More man candy please! Thanks 😛
It’s so awesome you get to wear such fab stuff! Do you get to take them home after you wear them? So lucky!!
So how many more days/weeks before we see it?! I’m excited haha 🙂
You look like a goddess in those shoes Ndoema.
Awww your leading man is just so hard to resist! Wish we can see more of him! Im sure im not alone in this sentiment 😛
The cutout back is the twist of the somewhat conservative halter. So fashionable!
The white marabou totally glams up the ensemble! To think that you only got it at an antique show. You sure know where to find ’em 🙂
I luv the 2nd photo! I can really feel the sadness in your eyes.
