Could there be a more powerful way to celebrate the Winter Solstice, spiritual rebirth, transformation and light, than by greeting the sunrise at the Karnak temple in Luxor? The temple of Amun Ra is one of several sacred sites around the world specifically designed to align with this significant astronomical phenomenon. Though Stonehenge is definitely a dream of mine, as you know I love for Egypt runs deep. So I feel incredibly grateful to have had the good fortune to experienced such a life stirring moment.
