For the fourth installment of our partnership with NEW/FOUND in celebration of A Current Affair (view part one, two and three of our weeklong collaboration), I gave in to an extra dose of goddess worship. While feverishly running through Richard Wrainwright’s carefully curated collection of designer garb, my eye caught this ultra feminine silk halter maxi dress by Rick Owens. Double take. I knew I had to have it. As I flipped my head, there was this mega huge coral and wood bangle staring at me, just arrived from India. Bingo. I knew I had a match made in heaven. Riding back to the studio, my Rain Man computer mind was scanning my closet in quest for the perfect pair of shoes… And in a flash, I just knew! My suede platform peep-toe pumps by Betsey Johnson were the perfect and final touch for this edgy-chic look.
Those glorious rich reds begged for a return to nature, so I deferentially obliged. I totally fell in love with these trees (wish I could bring back home one, or two… or three!). And how I wish magic hour could last forever.
So here you have it. Hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse of what awaits you at A Current Affair and that you’ll come over and party with us. You might see me there or you might run into the famed vintage aficionados who routinely scour the latest NEW/FOUND offerings, from Hedi Slimane and Marisa Tomei to Kelly Wearstler and Trina Turk (no less). The most wonderful thing about Life is that it’s unpredictable, but I can pretty much guarantee you two things. One: You’re bound to find something cool that’ll make your day. Two: You’ll be in the best and most fashionable company. See you there!
