The Monika Chiang Spring 2013 collection is just what I’ve been waiting for to dress up for my first Lakers game (I know I must be the lone LA-dwelling soul who hasn’t yet attended one of those iconic sports gatherings). I’m not exactly a sports fan but with the right clothes on…
The chunky heeled shoes are killer and I’m really loving the color-coordinated accessories. I can totally see myself pulling off a red monochromatic look with the drawstring mini skirt, chunky leather heels with matching duffle bag (and matching leather pouch to throw in a lip gloss and mascara wand). The red cap is fun and would be perfect to finish off the look but there’s no way in hell I could ever squeeze my oversized head of curls in it!
Must-haves: Gold and silver sequined pencil skirt with metallic python clutch bag. The silver platform heels. The square heel sandals and pumps in red and glossy white. The coordinated beaded blouse and tassel purse. And those green silk pleated pants. Pure elegance.
