There’s no shortage of vintage shops and shows in LA, and I swear I thought I’d raided them all in my quest for the coolest, most unique fashionable and collectable finds. Well, that was until I had the pleasure (and good fortune) of meeting vintage wiz and über collector Richard Wainwright of NEW/FOUND. He’s the bomb! His studio (by appointment only) is a treasure trove. A Fashionista’s dream come true. Overflowing with the most amazing Designer garb and a collection of oh so fabulous one-of-a-kind statement jewelry that has me hyperventilating. When we first hooked up, Richard invited me to check out his semi-annual vintage pop-up event A Current Affair. I did (as you can see here and here) and had a blast. The next one is coming up this Saturday and in celebration, I’ve picked a few personal favorites from Richard’s loot (which he’ll be bringing over to A Current Affair for all of us to drool over) and styled them in a series of photo shoots so you can all bask in the coolness.

For this shoot I zeroed in on a super sexy Gianfranco Ferre cutout bodysuit with studded pyramid leather sleeves. I mean, look at this beauty. I’m a total Gianfranco Ferre fan (one of my “things to do before you die” is to wear head-to-toe Gianfranco Ferre day and night for a year). Although these kickass Gucci gladiator platform sandals make me break that rule in an instant. Add to that the five-pound gold tassel earrings by Chantal Thomass and you’ve mastered that leggy knight-in-armor look that’ll keep your boyfriend begging you for an encore.
