The spectacular Adrère Amellal eco-lodge is a massive compound set amid awe-inspiring scenery: rolling sand dunes, the peaceful shores of Lake Siwa, healing spring-fed pools and ancient Roman baths nestled in gorgeous palm and olive groves… As far as I can remember I’ve always had a fascination with salt lakes and dreamt of floating in the dead sea one lucky day. Visiting Israel wasn’t in the cards on this trip but, unbeknownst to me, the Universe had answered my prayer with an impromptu salt lake dip at sunset in the Libyan desert.

It’s amazing how all the amenities are just so natural.
Still can’t believe there’s no electricity in the Adrère Amellal eco-lodge. Not your ordinary place of sanctuary.
Wish I had a good luck at your bathing suit! You look gorgeous as always.
I’m blown away! The place looks sooooo serene.
